A leaf that balances on one steel curve
The walnut top tapers to a point like a leaf and appears to float — carried on a single brushed-steel arm that sweeps down to the floor. Underneath, a cream drum quietly holds everything you don't want on display.
The cantilever
It looks precarious. It isn't.
The steel arm curls under the walnut and flattens into a wide foot on the floor. That foot is the counterweight — it's why a top this long can reach out over nothing and stay level.
The whole piece weighs 30 kg. It is not a light table, and it isn't meant to be.
The part you don't see
Swing the top. There's a drawer.
The leaf pivots over the cream drum below it. Turn it aside and a curved drawer pulls out — deep enough for remotes, chargers, coasters, reading glasses, the stack of things that usually lives on the table instead of in it.
Swing it back and the surface reads as one clean shape again. This is the reason to choose it over a table that only holds things on top.
Three materials, on purpose
Warm walnut, matte cream lacquer, brushed steel. Each one does a different job, and none of them shouts.

The veneer is laid so the figure follows the leaf outward from the stem, not straight across it.

Measure the gap first
This table is 130 cm long — longer than most. The steel foot also reaches out past the top, so leave clearance on that side. Standard advice is 40–45 cm between the sofa and the table edge.

Living with it
Is the walnut solid wood?
No — it is walnut veneer over an engineered wood core. That is deliberate for a top this shape and this size: a solid slab cut to a leaf would move with humidity and eventually cup or split. Veneer over a stable core holds the curve.
Will it tip if I lean on the pointed end?
The steel foot is sized as a counterweight and the storage drum carries load on the other side. It is a coffee table, not a bench — don't sit or stand on it, and don't hang weight off the tip.
How do I look after the finish?
Soft dry or barely damp cloth. Use coasters — veneer marks from heat and standing moisture. Keep it out of direct sun, which will fade walnut unevenly over time. No solvents, no polish with silicone.
How does it arrive?
This is a 30 kg piece of furniture, so it travels as freight rather than a standard parcel. We confirm your delivery window and the carrier by email once your order is placed — please check the doorway, stairwell and lift access before you order.
What if it arrives damaged?
