Clean, dry, stored — in one body
Ten brushes at the sink is fifteen minutes. Then they sit damp until morning.
And because it is fifteen minutes, it does not happen weekly. It happens when the foundation brush has gone stiff. This runs a five-minute wash cycle on its own, then stands the brushes upright and air-dries them in the same unit — so they come out clean, dry and already put away, without you holding anything over a basin.

Wash, dry, and then just leave them in it
The reason a brush cleaner usually ends up in a cupboard is that it only does the washing — you still need a towel, a rack and somewhere to put the brushes afterwards. This one is also where they live. The top holds them upright and covered between uses, so the thing on your counter is doing something every day, not once a month.
One touch panel runs all of it. No assembly, no batteries.
Five minutes, then it stops
It spins one way, then the other
Put the brush in the silicone bowl with water and a drop of brush soap. The bowl turns forward, then reverses — which matters, because spinning one direction only lays the bristles flat and traps residue against them. Reversing pushes it back out.
The cycle counts down five minutes and stops by itself. Run it twice on a foundation brush that has been left too long; that is normal, not a fault.
2 hours or 5 hours
The drying side never touches the wash water
Wet and dry are two separate chambers. Move the brush across to the drying side, press once for 2 hours or twice for 5 hours, and a fan runs cool air over the bristles until the timer ends. Two hours is usually enough in warm weather; use five in winter, or if your vanity is in a humid bathroom.
Brushes dry bristles-up and standing, which is how they keep their shape. Drying them flat on a towel is what splays a brush over time.

Hands-off, or hold it yourself
Standard face and eye brushes seat in the holder and you can walk away. For a very large powder brush, an angled contour brush or anything with an unusual handle, hold the brush against the spinner by hand instead — it works the same way, you are just doing the positioning.
That is worth knowing before you buy: it is not a limitation you discover later, it is how the machine is designed to handle the shapes a fixed holder cannot.

Four things it does not do
- Brushes are not included. The brushes in the photographs are there to show how the unit is used. What arrives is the cleaner and a USB cable.
- It does not sanitise or disinfect. It washes with water and whatever soap you put in. There is no UV lamp and no sterilising cycle, and we are not going to imply one.
- It will not lift months of dried-on product in one pass. Expect two cycles on a badly caked foundation brush. Nothing that spins a brush in water fixes that in five minutes.
- It is not cordless. It stays plugged into USB power while it runs — including for the whole 2 or 5-hour drying cycle. There is no battery inside.

Questions people ask
Do I need a special cleaning solution?
No. Warm water and a drop of brush soap, baby shampoo or gentle dish soap. Skip anything oily or conditioning — it leaves a film on synthetic bristles that takes another wash to remove.
Will it damage natural-hair brushes?
Water and spinning are harder on natural hair than on synthetic, as they are by hand too. Use less soap, one cycle rather than two, and dry on the 5-hour setting so the hair is not left damp at the ferrule — that is what loosens the glue over time. If a brush is expensive and sentimental, wash it by hand.
How many brushes at once?
Washing is one brush at a time — the bowl spins a single brush. Drying and storage hold a full set standing upright. In practice you wash through the set in a few minutes each, then dry them all together in one timed run.
Does it get the water out, or just blow air?
The spin flings most of the water out of the bristles, then the fan finishes the rest over the timed cycle. It is cool air, not heat — heat is what warps ferrules and melts synthetic fibres.
Is it loud?
The wash cycle is a small motor for five minutes. The drying fan is quieter and runs for hours, so it is worth knowing it is not silent if the unit lives in a bedroom. We have not measured a decibel figure and will not quote one.
Can I use it for brushes that are not makeup brushes?
Small soft brushes of a similar size, yes. It is built around the diameter of a makeup brush handle, so paintbrushes with long handles or anything stiff-bristled is outside what it is designed for.
How do I clean the machine itself?
Tip out the water after each session and rinse the silicone bowl — it lifts out. Wipe the body with a damp cloth. Never submerge the base; the motor and the touch panel are in it.
