A power bank is useless without its cable. This one keeps it in the loop.
Almost every dead-phone emergency is the same story: the bank is in the bag and the cable is on the bedside table. This one is 79 × 40 × 29 mm — smaller than a matchbox stood on end — with a short cable permanently looped through the body and magnets on the back that hold it to an iPhone. There is nothing to remember and nothing to pack. A fold-out leg on the back turns it into a stand while it charges.
Magnets, then wireless

The magnet ring lines up with the MagSafe ring on iPhone 12 and later, so it clicks into place on its own and you can keep using the phone one-handed while it charges. No cable, no dangling weight, nothing to hold.
Be clear-eyed about the speed, though: the wireless pad is rated 5 W, not the 15 W a MagSafe puck does. That is a top-up, not a fast charge — good for clawing back the 20% you need to get home, slow if you are trying to fill an empty phone. For anything faster, use the cable.
Read this before you buy
The built-in cable is Lightning, not USB-C
The loop that runs through the body ends in a Lightning plug. That fits an iPhone 14 or older, an older AirPods case, and anything else Apple shipped before the switch. It will not fit an iPhone 15, 16 or 17, or any USB-C Android phone.
We are putting that in large type near the top rather than in the small print, because it is the one thing that would make this the wrong purchase for you. If your phone is USB-C, you charge it off the magnetic pad or the USB-A port on the side with your own cable — both work fine, you just do not get the built-in-cable trick.
The bank itself recharges through USB-C.
A leg on the back
Charging on a tray table, watching something
The metal leg folds out of the back and holds the phone at a viewing angle while the magnets take the weight. On a plane tray, a hotel desk or a kitchen counter that is the difference between a phone lying face-up doing nothing and a screen you can actually watch.
Folded flat it disappears — the whole thing is 29 mm thick and around 200 g on our shipping scale, which is jacket-pocket territory rather than bag-only.
Two colours
Graphite or Silver
That is the only choice to make. The two are the same unit — same magnets, same 5 W pad, same built-in Lightning loop, same ports, same fold-out leg. What changes is the finish and the colour of the cable loop: black on Graphite, white on Silver.

Where our supplier's spec sheet contradicts itself
We would rather show you the mess than pick the flattering number out of it. Three things in the supplier data do not line up, and we have not opened one up to settle them:
- 5000 mAh or 4800 mAh. The headline figure is 5000; the same sheet lists rated capacity as 4800. Rated capacity is the honest one — it is what you actually get out. Assume 4800 mAh, which is roughly one full charge for a recent iPhone and a bit left over.
- Cell type. One line says lithium-polymer, another says 18650 cylindrical. Those are different cells. We do not know which is inside.
- 5 W or 15 W. "Max output 5 W" and "maximum output power 15 W" both appear. Our reading is that 5 W is the wireless pad and 15 W is the total across all outputs at once — but that is our reading, not a specification.
There is also no charge-cycle rating and no measured recharge time, so we are not quoting either. If one of these is the deciding factor for you, email support@lumoraloves.com before you order and we will tell you exactly what we do and do not know.
Before you buy
What it will not do
- It does not have a numeric display. You will see this product advertised elsewhere as having a "digital display". What it actually has is a row of four LEDs that show roughly how full it is, in quarters. No percentage, no screen. We are not going to call four dots a display.
- We cannot promise it charges an Apple Watch. The supplier markets it as a 3-in-1 for "phone, watch, headphones" and there is a round pad on the front. Apple Watch uses a proprietary magnetic charger, and generic pads frequently do not work with it. We have not tested this and we are not going to claim it. Do not buy this for the watch. If that is what you want it for, email us first.
- It is not a fast wireless charger. 5 W on the pad. A MagSafe charger is 15 W. If you need speed, use a cable into the USB-A port.
- The magnets will not reach through every case. A thin or MagSafe-rated case is fine. A thick rugged case, a wallet case or anything with a metal plate in the back will weaken or block the hold.
- It is not a branded charger and does not claim Qi2. Certification on the supplier's sheet is CE. There is no MFi licence and no Qi2 certification.
- It is not for checked luggage. Lithium batteries fly in the cabin, in your carry-on. That is airline rule, not ours.

Questions people ask
I have an iPhone 16. Is this still worth it?
Yes, but for the magnets rather than the cable. The built-in loop is Lightning and will not plug into your phone. You would use the magnetic pad, which sticks to the back and charges wirelessly at 5 W, or the USB-A port with your own USB-C cable. If the built-in cable was the whole appeal for you, this is not the right product.
How many full charges will I get?
At 4800 mAh rated, roughly one full charge of a recent iPhone with a little to spare — and less than that over the wireless pad, because wireless charging wastes energy as heat. We are giving you the arithmetic rather than a marketing figure, because the honest answer depends on your phone and whether you use the cable or the pad.
Will it charge my Apple Watch?
We do not know, and we are not willing to guess. The supplier advertises a 3-in-1 including a watch, but Apple Watch uses a proprietary charger that generic pads often cannot drive. Please do not buy this for the watch function. Email us and we will ask the supplier directly and tell you what they say — including that it is their claim, not our test.
Will the magnets hold with my case on?
With a thin case or a MagSafe-rated case, yes. With a thick rugged case, a wallet case, or any case with a metal plate for a car mount, the hold will be weak or gone. If you are not sure, take the case off to test it the first time.
Can I charge two things at once?
There is a wireless pad, a built-in Lightning cable and a USB-A port, so physically yes. The supplier quotes 15 W total across all outputs, which means whatever you plug in shares that between them and everything charges slower. We have not tested how it behaves with three devices attached.
Can I take it on a plane?
In your carry-on, yes. Lithium batteries are not allowed in checked luggage on any airline. At 4800 mAh / around 18 Wh it is far below the 100 Wh limit that requires airline approval, so no paperwork — it just has to travel in the cabin with you.
Does a wall plug come with it?
No. You recharge it over USB-C from any charger, laptop or plug you already own. The supplier's sheet mentions "with plug" in its feature list, which refers to the built-in cable connector rather than a mains adapter — we checked, and there is no wall adapter in the box.
