This is not ordinary double-sided tape. It is a 1 mm clear gel that grips flat, spreads the load across its whole surface, and peels back off in one piece. When it eventually stops sticking, you rinse it under the tap, let it dry, and it grips again. Cut what you need, keep the rest on the roll.

Comes off in one piece, not a hundred
Foam mounting tape tears and leaves a grey scar you have to scrape. This peels away as a single strip — lift a corner, pull slowly and steadily, and it releases.
On smooth, sealed surfaces — painted drywall, tile, glass, laminate, metal, sealed wood — it typically comes away without residue. On wallpaper, textured paint or paint less than 30 days old, test a small piece first.
Reusable
Dust kills tape. Water fixes it.
Tape stops sticking because the surface fills with dust and skin oil, not because the adhesive runs out. Rinse this under warm water, rub it gently, let it air dry completely, and the grip comes back.
That is why one roll outlasts a drawer full of disposable strips — and why you can rearrange a photo wall three times without buying anything.
Cut to any length
Scissors are all you need. Use a 2 in tab for a small hook or a full strip along a rug edge.

Thirty seconds, no tools
- Clean and dry the surface. Wipe with alcohol if you can — this is the step most people skip and it is the one that matters.
- Cut the length you need with scissors.
- Peel the protective film from both sides.
- Press hard for 20–30 seconds, then wait a few hours before loading it. The bond keeps building as it settles.

Wider grips harder, because grip comes from contact area. If you are between two sizes, take the wider one — the price gap between the smallest roll and the largest is a few dollars, and running out mid-job is the more expensive mistake.

Questions people ask
How much weight will it hold?
It depends far more on the surface and the contact area than on the tape. A long strip on clean glass holds much more than a short tab on textured paint. Treat it as a mount for light, everyday items — frames, hooks, cables, organisers, rug corners — not for shelves, mirrors, TVs or anything that would hurt someone if it fell.
Will it damage my paint?
On cured, sealed paint it normally lifts away cleanly if you pull slowly and evenly rather than yanking. On wallpaper, textured paint, or paint applied in the last month, there is a real risk of lifting the surface — test a small piece somewhere hidden first.
How do I wash it?
Rinse under warm water, rub gently with your fingers (no soap needed), then let it air dry completely. It looks cloudy while wet and goes clear again as it dries. Do not use it before it is fully dry.
Can I use it outdoors?
It is water-resistant and fine in a bathroom or kitchen. Long-term outdoor use in direct sun and freezing temperatures is not what it is built for — expect the bond to weaken.
Why is it not sticking well?
Nine times out of ten the surface was dusty or slightly greasy. Wipe it with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, press the tape hard for 30 seconds and give it a few hours before hanging anything. Cold surfaces also bond poorly — warm the spot first if the room is cold.
0.8 in or 1.2 in?
0.8 in for cables, small hooks and posters. 1.2 in for anything with weight or anything on a rug or floor, where the extra contact area makes a noticeable difference.
