Most phone tripods get left at home, because carrying one means committing a bag to it. Folded, this one is 4.88 inches long and 145 g — shorter than the phone it holds, light enough to hang off a belt loop on the carabiner it ships with. It magnets onto the back of an iPhone, extends to 25 inches, stands on its own four legs, and folds back down into a jacket pocket.
Four shapes, one object

Folded and held in the hand it is a camera grip — the thing that stops handheld video looking like handheld video, because you are holding a handle instead of pinching a phone. Press the base and four legs pop out and it becomes a tripod. Pull the rod out and it is a selfie stick. Set it on a table at a short extension and it is a desk stand for a video call.
You are not swapping parts to do any of this. It is the same object opened to a different length.
Read this before you buy
It holds the phone with magnets, not a clamp
The head is a magnet ring that lines up with the MagSafe ring in iPhone 12 and later. The phone clicks on and comes off one-handed, and there is no plastic jaw to squeeze over your screen or your camera bump.
That is the appeal, and it is also the limitation. If your phone or case has no magnet ring, it will not hold on its own. A steel adhesive ring is included for that — you stick it to the back of the case and the magnet grips that instead. It works, but it is a sticker on your case, and you should know that going in rather than finding out.
Thick rugged cases, wallet cases and cases with a metal car-mount plate weaken or block the hold even on a MagSafe phone.
Which version this is
The 25-inch one, not the 15.7-inch one
The factory makes two of these. The short one tops out at 15.7 inches, which is enough for a desk stand and not much else — at arm's length it barely gets the camera further away than your arm already does. This listing is the 25-inch version.
Twenty-five inches is the difference between a selfie of your face and a selfie with the room in it, and it is the height that makes the tripod useful for filming yourself from a table. We are pointing out that two versions exist because you will see the short one sold with the same photos elsewhere.
Aiming it
210° tilt, 360° spin, and it slides up and down
The head tilts through 210°, so it points at the ceiling, straight ahead, or down at a table for an overhead shot. It rotates 360° on the rod, and the magnet plate itself turns 180° — which is how you switch between portrait and landscape without unmagnetising the phone.
The phone also slides up and down on the plate. That matters more than it sounds: it is how you get the lens clear of the mount when you are shooting at an angle, and how you balance a heavier Pro Max so the head does not droop.
The base
Four legs, one button
Press the button in the end cap and the legs spring out into a four-corner base. Four legs sit flatter on an uneven surface than three and give the head a wider footprint to lean against, which is what you want when a 200 g phone is 25 inches up in the air.
Be sensible with it anyway. This is a 145 g aluminium and plastic stick, not a camera tripod — it will hold a phone steady on a table or a level path, and it will go over in wind or on a slope.
The remote
It detaches, and it charges
The shutter button lifts out of the handle and becomes a separate Bluetooth remote, so you can walk into the shot and still take it. The supplier quotes a range of 33 ft (10 m) and about 5,000 presses per charge from the 55 mAh cell, over USB-C.
No coin cell to hunt for, which is the usual failure mode of cheap selfie sticks — the button dies in month four and the battery is a size nobody stocks. One note in the spec sheet contradicts this; we have set out exactly what it says further down rather than quietly ignoring it.

Where our supplier's spec sheet contradicts itself
We would rather show you the mess than pick the flattering number out of it. Four things in the supplier data do not line up, and we have not taken one apart to settle them:
- The sheet says "Support Remote Control: No". Every other source says otherwise — the feature list describes a rechargeable Bluetooth remote with a 33 ft range, the packaging photo lists a charging cable, and the remote is visible in the accessory photograph. Our reading is that the "No" line is a leftover field from a different model, and we have listed the remote as included on that basis. If the remote is the reason you are buying, email us first and we will confirm with the supplier before you order.
- Extended length: 25 in or 20.5 in. The product photographs for this version are dimensioned at 25 in; a line in the written spec says 20.5 in. We have gone with the photographs, which are specific to this model, but treat 25 in as the manufacturer's figure rather than one we have measured.
- Folded length: 4.88 in, 4.92 in, or 138 mm. Three figures in three places. They span about a centimetre, so any of them means the same thing in practice — it fits a jacket pocket. We quote the 4.88 in from the dimensioned photo.
- Weight: 141 g or 145 g. Both appear. The difference is a coin. We quote 145 g as the higher of the two.

Before you buy
What it will not do
- It is not a gimbal or a stabiliser. You will see this exact product advertised elsewhere as a "handheld stabilizer". There are no motors and no gyroscopes in it. Holding a grip steadies your hands a little; it does not correct your movement the way a gimbal does. We are not going to call a handle a stabiliser.
- It has no fill light. Similar-looking sticks in this category have small LEDs on the head. This one does not. The ring you can see around the magnet plate is the magnet housing, not a lamp.
- It will not hold a non-magnetic phone without the adhesive ring. The ring is in the box, but it is an adhesive disc you attach to your case, and it will not come off cleanly.
- It is not for a camera. There is no ¼-inch tripod screw. It is a magnet mount for a phone, and nothing else attaches to it.
- It is not weatherproof. No water rating is published. Sea spray, sand and rain are not its environment.
- It is not a branded product. This is an unbranded factory model — the supplier's own reference is "SS25" — sold under our listing. There is no warranty beyond our returns policy.

Questions people ask
Will it work with my Android phone?
Yes, using the adhesive magnetic ring in the box. No Android phone has a MagSafe ring built in, so the magnet has nothing to grab until you stick the ring to the back of the case. Once it is on, the phone mounts the same way an iPhone does. The remote pairs over standard Bluetooth and works with Android camera apps.
Will the magnet hold my iPhone with a case on?
With a thin case or a MagSafe-rated case, yes. With a thick rugged case, a wallet case, or any case with a metal plate for a car mount, the hold will be weak or gone. If you are not sure, test it with the case off first so you know what a good hold feels like.
Is it strong enough for a Pro Max?
The manufacturer does not publish a load rating, so we will not claim a maximum. What we can tell you is that the phone slides up and down on the mounting plate, which exists precisely so you can shift a heavier phone until the head stops drooping. On a big phone at full extension, expect to spend a moment balancing it.
Does it stabilise video like a gimbal?
No. It has no motors. Holding a grip instead of a phone does steady footage a little, because your hand is doing something it is shaped for — but that is ergonomics, not stabilisation. If you need genuinely smooth walking footage, you need a motorised gimbal, and this is not one.
How do I charge the remote?
It lifts out of the handle and charges over USB-C with the cable in the box. The supplier quotes roughly 5,000 presses from a full charge on the 55 mAh cell. We have not counted them, so treat that as their figure.
Can I take it on a plane?
The remote has a small lithium cell, so the whole thing belongs in your carry-on rather than checked luggage. At 55 mAh it is far below any airline threshold that needs approval. Some airport security teams also treat extendable poles inconsistently — folded at 4.88 in it reads as an accessory rather than a pole, which is one practical advantage of the small one.
Can I use it outdoors on grass or sand?
You can stand it up, but be realistic. The legs are short and light, and a phone 25 inches up catches wind. On soft or sloping ground, use it at a lower extension or lean it against something. There is no counterweight hook.
How does it compare to the cheaper short version?
The short version reaches 15.7 in and folds to 4.29 in. This one reaches 25 in and folds to 4.88 in — six-tenths of an inch longer in your pocket for nine-and-a-half more inches of reach. That trade is the entire reason we stocked this one instead.
