Most leak sensors at this price need a separate hub or base station before they will talk to your phone. This one connects straight to your home Wi-Fi. Unbox it, open the app, and it is running in about two minutes.

Please check before you order: this sensor connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. It will not connect to a 5GHz network. Most routers broadcast both, but some mesh systems combine them into one name — if yours does, you may need to split the bands or use a guest 2.4GHz network during setup.

Leaks start in predictable places, which is why most homes need more than one sensor:

Good to know

  • It alerts, it does not shut off water. This sensor tells you there is water. Stopping it is still a job for you or a plumber.
  • It needs Wi-Fi to notify you. If your internet is down, the local alarm still sounds, but no push notification will reach your phone.
  • Delivery takes 10–16 business days. These ship directly from our supplier — we would rather tell you now than have you wonder on day nine.
