Four letters, stacked down a narrow wall
H, O, M, E in mirrored acrylic, hung vertically with a small butterfly resting at the top. It is drawn for the tall thin spaces a picture frame cannot use — the strip beside a doorway, a plain door panel, the side of a chimney breast.

Almost every wall word is made to run left to right, which is useless on the walls most homes actually have spare. Stacked into a 30 × 100 cm column, this one fits a door, a hallway pier, or the gap between a doorframe and a corner.
Because the letters come apart, the spacing is yours — tighten it for a compact block or stretch it down a taller wall.
Why mirror and not paint
The letters borrow the room
A mirrored letter has no colour of its own. It picks up whatever is opposite — the green of a plant, the warm wood of a floor, the light off a window — so it never fights the palette you already chose.
On a white wall it reads as pale silver. On a dark or coloured wall it reads almost as cut glass.
Putting it up
Three steps, about twenty minutes

Lay it out on the floor
Set the letters in the order and spacing you want, then measure the total height before anything touches the wall.

Mark a faint pencil line
One vertical guide line, plus a light mark for each letter. Adhesive does not forgive a second attempt.

Clean, press, then peel the film
Wipe with rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Take the protective film off only once every letter is placed.

Before you stick anything down
Mark it out first
Lay the letters on the floor in the order and spacing you want, measure the total height, then mark a faint vertical pencil line on the wall and light marks for each letter. Adhesive letters do not forgive a second attempt — the tape loses grip once it has been pulled off.
What will it stick to?
Smooth, clean, dry surfaces: painted plaster, a painted or laminate door, tile, glass. It will not hold on textured wallpaper, brick, limewash or anything chalky. Wipe with rubbing alcohol and let it dry fully first — dust is why letters fall.
Will it mark my paint coming off?
It may. Adhesive that holds for years will sometimes lift a flake of paint. If you rent, test one letter somewhere hidden, or swap the supplied pads for removable mounting strips.
Is it a real mirror?
It is mirrored acrylic, so the reflection is a little softer than glass and may show slight waviness on a wall that is not perfectly flat. This is decoration that catches light — not a mirror to use.
Cleaning, and the film
Peel the protective film off only after every letter is placed. Clean with soft dry microfibre — acrylic scratches easily, so no paper towel and no ammonia-based window spray, which hazes the surface for good.
