Your room has a light. It doesn’t have a fan.
Most bedrooms, home offices, garages and rentals have exactly one thing on the ceiling: a light socket. Installing a real ceiling fan means a junction box, a brace, a switch loop and someone qualified to wire it — which is not happening in a rental, a dorm room or a finished basement. This unscrews the bulb and screws into the same socket. Four fan heads, a dimmable LED and a remote, in about a minute.
Fits what you already have
If a bulb screws in, this screws in
The base is a standard screw base that fits the E26 sockets used across the US and the E27 sockets used almost everywhere else. Ceiling fixture, flush mount, pendant, garage lamp holder, closet fixture — if it takes a normal screw-in bulb, it takes this.
Turn the power off at the switch, unscrew the bulb, screw this in, unfold the four arms. No tools, no ladder-and-wire-nuts, nothing to undo when you move out.
Three speeds
Four heads push air in four directions
Instead of one big blade sweeping a single circle, four independent heads on folding arms spread the airflow across the room. Each head carries five blades and the arms angle where you want them — over the bed, toward the desk, away from the doorway.
Low is a background breeze you can sleep through. Middle is everyday circulation. High is what you want at 3pm in August.
Light you can change
Cool white for work, warm for winding down
The 16 W LED panel switches between three colour temperatures — cool white, neutral, and warm yellow — and dims across three levels. The same fixture reads as an office light at 10am and a bedside lamp at 10pm.
The panel is a diffused disc rather than exposed LEDs, so you are not looking at bright dots when you lie down under it.
Remote included
Fan and light, controlled separately
The remote runs the fan speed, the light brightness and the colour temperature independently — fan on with the light off, or light on with the fan off. Useful, because a ceiling socket usually has no controls of its own beyond the wall switch.
The blades detach for cleaning, which matters more than it sounds: a fan on a ceiling collects dust, and blades you can rinse are blades you will actually clean.
Before you buy
What this is not
- It is not a full ceiling fan. The motors draw about 18 W in total — enough to move air in a bedroom, office, nursery, workshop or small living space. It will not cool a large open-plan room the way a 52″ ceiling fan does.
- It runs off the socket, so if your ceiling light is on a wall switch, cutting that switch cuts the fan too. It has no battery backup.
- The arms need room to unfold. Measure roughly 20″ (50 cm) of clear space around the socket, and check you have headroom — it hangs lower than a bulb.
- It is designed for a normal on/off socket. We would not run it on a wall dimmer circuit; use the remote to dim instead.

Questions people ask
Will it fit my light socket?
If your fixture takes a standard screw-in bulb — the ordinary size sold as E26 in the US — yes. E26 and E27 use the same thread; the difference is a fraction of a millimetre and they interchange. It will not fit a candelabra (E12) socket, a pin-base fixture, or a recessed can with a trim that blocks the arms.
Do I need an electrician?
No. There is no wiring involved. Switch the light off at the wall, let the old bulb cool, unscrew it, screw this in and unfold the arms. If you are working on a ladder, have someone hold it.
How much air does it actually move?
Enough for a bedroom, home office, nursery, workshop or small living room — the kind of space where you would otherwise put a floor fan. It is an 18 W fan, not a 52-inch ceiling fan, and we would rather say that now than have you disappointed later.
Can I run the fan without the light?
Yes. The remote controls the fan and the light separately, so you can have the fan running with the light off, or the light on with the fan still.
Is it quiet?
On low it is a soft airflow sound most people sleep through. On high you can hear it, the way you hear any fan on its top setting. Small plastic blades moving air are never silent, and we are not going to quote you a decibel figure we have not measured ourselves.
Will it work with a smart plug or wall dimmer?
A smart switch or plug that simply cuts power on and off is fine — the fixture returns to its last setting. A dimmer switch is not recommended: the LED driver and the fan motor are meant for full mains voltage, and dim the light with the remote instead.
Can I clean it?
The blades pull off, so you can wipe or rinse them and let them dry before clipping them back on. Wipe the LED panel and the arms with a dry cloth — power off first, and never run water near the housing.
